3 Day Corporate Fast

Lisa Russell

From October 27th to 29th, in preparation for our Breakthrough Sunday on October 31st, we will doing a three day corporate fast together as a church. We invite you and your family (children can participate too), to ask the Holy Spirit in what manner you should fast. Some will choose to abstain from food completely and just drink water, others may choose to fast a meal or two a day, or perhaps fast from media, YouTube and television. Whatever you decide to do, we encourage you to take the time to separate yourself to God and spend some time in prayer for yourself, your family, the church, and the region.
Here are some areas you can pray for breakthrough in:
  • healing
  • provision and finances
  • restoration in relationships
  • freedom and deliverance from oppression, depression, anxiety and fear
  • salvation for those who don’t know Jesus
  • revival, a move of God that breaks open the hearts of the people in the region of West Vancouver and Greater Vancouver.
Come out for Wednesday prayer, October 27th, as we will be praying into the above together. 🙏

Corporate Fast

Lisa Russell

Given the significance and the material of the upcoming Freedom Sessions Conference, the leadership have felt to call a corporate 3 day fast in preparation. Last year we did this as a church as well and it was noted by Ken and the whole church the powerful breakthrough that was intimately tied to that preparation. It would be beneficial to consider and pray how each of you will participate in the fast and what kind of fast you will do. For those interested in the biblical foundation for fasting, please listen to Nick’s message on fasting in preparation for last year’s conference simply titled Fasting.

The actual dates for the fast will be Monday through Wednesday, October 29 – 31st, culminating with corporate prayer on Wednesday night at Nick and Lisa’s house (5418 Greentree Road) for those who are able to attend. Soup will be served after the prayer meeting to break the fast. We do realize that for some of you, Halloween will be a conflict. Please feel free to adjust your commitments around Halloween if you need to.

We have a busy week ahead of us. Thank you to each of you for your support, prayer, and excitement in anticipation and preparation for this important time.
