Prayer is a central value to us as a church. The bible is full of wonderful passages on why and when we should pray. Most notably, we believe that our Father in heaven wants to talk to us and to hear from us in return. We are challenged to boldly approach His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) and to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Jesus also encourages us “to pray always and not give up (Luke 18:1).” For this reason, we determine to come together regularly to pray.

Our prayer meetings are more intimate gathering where we can share testimonies, pray for one another, and practice our spiritual gifts. It is a safe place to step out in faith and exercise your spiritual senses to hear more accurately from God and respond. Wednesday prayer and pre-service prayer meetings are some of our most powerful times together; it is the engine room of the church.

Here are some ways you can connect with us to pray:

• Wednesday Prayer is from 7:30pm – 9:00pm and happens every other week (alternating with Connect Groups). Join us at The Hub, #4 – 5775 Marine Drive, West Vancouver.
• Sunday Pre-Service Prayer is from 9am – 9:30am at the Park Royal Cineplex Theatre. Pre-service prayer is located in the “Party Room,” next to Theatre 3.
• Join a Connect Group that meets bi-monthly in homes across the North Shore and into Langley. Prayer is an important part of Connect group and there is usually an opportunity to pray for one another and hear each other’s requests.

Everyone is welcome at all prayer gatherings. We encourage you to get involved.
