Preparations are underway for the Annual Revolution Church Christmas Party, hosting at The Russells, 5418 Greentree Road, West Vancouver. There will be entertainment, activities for the kids and lots of great food to eat. Bring a dish to share. The party starts at 5:00pm! We’re expecting a full house so come early for good parking. Join us and the Horseshoe Bay community for a night of Christmas caroling on the beach, Thursday, November 30th, 6 – 8pm. There will be a bonfire on the beach, treats, and lots of fun. Revolution Church is providing the music for caroling. Bring the kids: They love it!!!
Starting Sunday, December 3rd and leading up to Christmas Eve, Revolution Church invites you to consider Jesus – His birth, life, and eventual return. With seasonal songs and carols, scripture reading and preaching, we prepare our hearts for the promise of Jesus Christ, both as a past historical event, a present life-giving reality, and a future hope-filled promise. Please join us at our beautiful new venue, Gleneagles Golf Course Clubhouse, October 1st as we celebrate a new season in the life of Revolution Church. The Clubhouse is a stunning venue situated amid trees and loads of green space with sweeping views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We are so blessed to be able to meet and worship together in such a great space. We also have lots of room to grow as a congregation so invite your friends and family! Our debut Sunday will start at 10am followed by a family BBQ on the patio. We look forward to welcoming new friends and neighbours for the first time! This Sunday after the service we will head to Whytecliff Park for a picnic, fellowship, games and sport. Please pack a picnic for yourself and your family with a little something extra to spare. Also blankets or lawn chairs to sit on, your bathing suit if you want to swim and any sports equipment or games you may like play with the group. We will have some fun games for the family and a little extra food and drink for any guests or friends that may join us for the first time. At present there is a BBQ ban in all Northshore Parks so we will not be able to bring a BBQ for meat. If this changes we will let you know.
There will be no church service this weekend, June 18th as we will be away for the Revolution Church Family Camp. If you are planning your visit for the first time, please join us another Sunday at 10am.
We are pleased to welcome Ken and Michelle Grenfell as visiting speakers from Virginia, U.S. the weekend of May 20 & 21. For those who have enjoyed Ken’s ministry before, you will know he operates strongly in the prophetic gifting and will be sharing what God has put on his heart for us as a church.
Please join us for a BBQ potluck dinner and ministry time at 5418 Greentree Road, Saturday, May 20, from 4:00 – 8:00pm. Please bring a appetizer, salad, or dessert to share. The BBQ meal and drinks will be provided.
Ken and Michelle will also minister on Sunday morning at our regular service time, 10am – 11:30am.
Family Camp is back by popular demand! We are back at Camp Sunrise on the Sunshine Coast http://www.campsunrise.ca/ from Thursday June 20 – Sunday June 23. (There will be no regular service in West Vancouver on June 23). The camp has beautiful facilities with lots of activities and a pool. The camp is within walking distance of the ferry so no need to drive. All meals are included, starting on Thursday night dinner, ending with lunch on Sunday afternoon. This is an awesome time to hang out together, play, and worship in God’s amazing creation. Our extended family of friends are welcome to join us as well! Cost will be as following, which includes accommodation and meals (you will need to bring your own bedding). Families of four or more pay a maximum of $400. Signup and deposits will be taken Sunday mornings leading up to the start of Camp. If writing a check or paying cash, please make sure you clearly indicate on the envelope and/or check that it is for Family Camp. Join us for a simple, thoughtful outdoor service in remembrance of the significance of Jesus’ death on the cross. Hotcross buns, hot chocolate and coffee will follow. Please remember to dress for the weather. Batchelor Bay is located at the base of Dufferin Avenue in West Vancouver.

Resurrection Sunday is perhaps the greatest day of celebration in the Christian calendar. It is the day when we recognize that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead! And with that, He has conquered sin and death! Through faith, we are part of this great event and are partners in His victory and recipients of His generous gifts. Join us on this special Sunday for a celebration with worship and communion.
