Corporate Fast
We are privileged once again to have Ken Grenfell come and visit us this coming November 9 & 10. This has always been a strategic time for the church which God has used to focus, shift, and release individually and corporately. In preparation for this significant time, the leadership are calling a corporate 3 day fast. It would be beneficial to consider and pray how each of you will participate in the fast and what kind of fast you will do. For those interested in the biblical foundation for fasting, please listen to Derek Prince’s “When you fast (not if).” In addition, Lisa spoke on fasting earlier this year as part of the Spiritual Disciplines series. You can find that sermon here.
The actual dates for the fast will be Monday through Wednesday, November 4 – 6, culminating with corporate prayer on Wednesday night at Nick and Lisa’s house (5418 Greentree Road). Soup will be served after the prayer meeting to break the fast.
