52 Dozen Doughnuts at the Taste of the Bay

Lisa Russell

We are excited to be participating as a church in the Taste of the Bay this year, Thursday, April 28th from 5:30 – 8:00. This is a great event where 600+ people buy tickets and are invited to taste and sample the products and offerings of 30+ restaurants and businesses in the Horseshoe Bay area.  This will be the first year that Revolution Church is participating! We have ordered 52 dozen doughnuts from Harmony Doughnuts on Lonsdale and will be handing them out to participants down at the Bay. That’s a lot of doughnuts! There is no charge for those who just want to hang out with us but if you are also interested in attending the event, you can purchase tickets for $20 for adults and $10 for children. This is a fabulous opportunity for us to introduce ourselves to the community, enjoy each other’s company, and spread God’s love in Horseshoe Bay. Come and join us. It’s going to be a lot of fun!

Easter Services

Lisa Russell

Special Easter services will be held Good Friday, March 25 and Sunday, March 27.

Weather permitting, Join us on the beachside at Batchelor Bay in West Vancouver, 11:00 – 12:00 for a special remembrance around the death of Jesus Christ.  Remember your jacket and bring a blanket or chair to sit on.  Batchelor Bay is located at the base of Dufferin Avenue off of Marine Drive heading toward Whytecliff Park. We’ll bring hot chocolate and hot cross buns. Feel free to invite a friend to join you.

The Easter Sunday service will be at our regular 10:00am time with a special emphasis on the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Light refreshments and something sweet for the kids will be served afterwards.  We warmly welcome our community, friends, and family to visit and celebrate with us the good news of Jesus Christ and the freedom we enjoy because of His great love and sacrifice for us.

Advent: A Season of Contemplation and Celebration

Lisa Russell

Starting November 29th and including the four Sundays leading up to Christmas, Revolution Church invites you to consider Jesus – His birth, life, and eventual return. With seasonal songs and carols, scripture reading and preaching, we prepare our hearts for the promise of Jesus Christ, both as a past historical event, a present life-giving reality, and a future hope-filled promise.
