We're thrilled to welcome Grade 1-7 children to Revolution Kids. Revolution Preschool is open for little explorers ages 1-5.
Our Vision for Revolution Kids
“Let the little children come to me [Jesus] and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” - Matthew 19:14.
At Revolution Kids, we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun atmosphere where children can learn about Jesus and meet new friends. As teachers and leaders, our heart is to lead and equip kids to know and experience the love of God and to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe that age is not a limiting factor in the Kingdom of God. Our kids can be powerful ambassadors of God in their schools, families, and communities.
The Curriculum
We use the curriculum called The Gospel Project. It’s a chronological exploration of the Bible, revealing how every part of Scripture directs us toward Jesus. It tells One Big Story: God's plan of redemption of sinners through faith in Jesus Christ. It offers our children a strong grounding in the Word, along with practical application for their daily lives.
Our Mascot: Rocco the Racoon
Children are going to have an absolute blast with Rocco the Raccoon at Revolution Kids!
Rocco the Racoon is not just a mascot but a friend who brings joy, laughter, and memorable experiences to Revolution Kids. Children will learn valuable life lessons such as kindness, empathy, sharing, and teamwork. Rocco will inspire children to dream big and believe that all things are possible with God. Rocco is a cheerleader who believes in every child's potential.
Teacher Qualifications and Safety
Our Sunday School teachers are chosen based on calling (they love children and want to teach) and on personal integrity. Sunday School teachers are also required to complete a criminal record check prior to teaching the kids.
Sign In and Sign Out
Revolution Kids is a separate children’s church experience held in tandem with our adult service. Revolution Kids is located in Theatre 3, next to the adult theatre. The Children’s Church and Adult service both start at 10am and it is important to arrive on time. Parents or registered guardians are required to sign in and sign out their children. Sign in starts at 9:50am. Sign out happens after the main service finishes around 11:20am.
Partnering with Parents
At Revolution Church, it is our hope to not only give your child the best possible experience and teaching regarding their relationship with Jesus, but also to partner with parents to see them acquire the skills and knowledge to parent their children well in accordance with God’s word. We value parents’ input and experience, and we welcome your questions and ideas. We also hope that parents will be part of the Revolution Kids service team.
