Guest Speaker Steve Stewart

Lisa Russell

We are super excited to be welcoming Steve Stewart from Impact Nations to speak Sunday, August 4th. Steve Stewart is the founder and president of Impact Nations. In 1987, he, his wife Christina and their four sons moved to Ontario to plant churches. Over the next fifteen years they planted—either directly, or by training and sending out teams–– seven churches in Ontario, BC and Russia. They also began Healing Rooms in Canada; eventually Healing Rooms were established in over 30 communities. Steve and Impact Nations have travelled to multiple nations in Africa, Asia, Central America and South America. Churches have been planted, hundreds of thousands of lives have been impacted: in many nations the sick have received medical care, the hungry have been fed, and communities have received clean water. Farms, small businesses, schools and a clinic have been established.

We look forward to receiving Steve and his gifting on Sunday. Invite a friend to come along. It is sure to be an excellent time.

Easter Sunday Service, April 21st, 10:00 – 11:30.

Resurrection Sunday is perhaps the greatest day of celebration in the Christian calendar. It is the day when we recognize that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead! And with that, He has conquered sin and death! Through faith, we are part of this great event and are partners in His victory and recipients of His generous gifts. Join us on this Easter Sunday at Gleneagles Clubhouse for a special celebration with worship and communion. Treats and coffee will be served afterwards.

Family Picnic, Sunday August 19th

Lisa Russell

We have been bumped out of our Sunday time at the Clubhouse due to a wedding booking conflict. But that’s okay. We will have a great morning anyway with a Family Day picnic and activities at Whytecliff instead. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, some of your favourite sports equipment, something yummy to eat and anything else you would like to share with the group. We will start at 11:00am and give everyone a little extra time to sleep in 😉 Just a reminder there will be No Church Service as a result.
